We also offer pick up, delivery, and full-service catering options! Call ahead, or walk in to place your orders to go!

Here at Cafe Mumford's, we value creative & unique culinary experiences, with an emphasis on local and organic food whenever possible. We also seasonally source from our own organic garden!

Join us for a casual evening of fine food, set in Mumford’s organic garden. 

Seating will be available at community tables and each course will be served family-style. 

Reservations are required as there will be limited seating.

$75.00 per person + tax & gratuity

Credit card information is required to make a reservation

Friday: $1,125.00

Cafe Mumford's is a full-service catering company. The amount and type of service you require will of course depend on the style of your event, your needs and your budget. We offer full-service catering and event coordination. Delivery and carry-out service are always available. We can do as much or as little for your event as you'd like. The menu choices that you'll find in the links below offer a starting point for your selection, but we're happy to customize a menu for you.

When using our full-service menu, your event will be priced per person. When using our pick-up/delivery services, your order will be itemized. If you choose to itemize your full-service event, a 5% usage charge for equipment applies.

Your menu selection and style of service desired will determine the cost of labor. The cost of staff is $25.00 per hour for server/chef/bartender (with a minimum of 4 hours, starting 1/2 hour before staff arrives on-site to pick-up food and equipment). Server/chef/bartender fees are paid separately from your food bill. Service can only be provided if Mumford's is catering at least some of your event, if not all.

It all started when...

Cafe Mumford's is owned and operated by Chris & Debbie Mumford. They first established themselves in 1989 for their "garden-to-table" practices with the opening of their premier restaurant, Mumford's Unique American Cuisine in Long Branch, NJ.

In 1998, the Mumford's purchased a little over an acre of property in Tinton Falls, NJ, there creating Mumford's Culinary Center. Since then, we have evolved into Cafe Mumford's. 

Chef Chris Mumford is responsible for the cultivation of our own organic garden, located right here on the Cafe Mumford's property. Starting the process from seed every Spring in his own personal greenhouse, Chef Mumford organically grows his own unique and diverse variety of fruits & vegetables including heirloom tomatoes and lettuces.

Chef Chris Mumford's motto is "save the world!" Here at Cafe Mumford's, we endeavor to practice environmentally conscious methods by recycling water, paper, and natural food waste to create organic compost for our on-site garden. From this collection, the Cafe Mumford's garden receives nutrient-rich, all-natural fertilizer! This labor continues throughout the Summer, up until the pulling of the last root vegetable in late Autumn.
